Is the Star Flower Outfit retired?

Tell me about it. That happens a lot with the AGT stuff - I don't really pay much attention to it until I can't have it, and then I want it. There are a few sets that disappeared last fall (like the Ice Dance Outfit and the Talent Show Skirt and Jacket outfit)that don't seem to come up too often on eBay that I wish I had gotten. I keep telling myself to be strong, but then I call my PS and order anything she has that has disappeared from the website. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

It's a disease, I tell ya...

Sorry Elle, I didn't mean to get your hopes up. I wish I had gotten the Ice Dance outfit before it was retired. Unfortunately, I didn't, and now it seems to be gone for good. Sorry you missed out on it too (I'm sure your figure skater would want it). I feel your pain, though. [img]wink.gif[/img]

I did, however, get the Staflower Outfit last week from AGPC over the phone. I also got the Memorable Moments and Garden Party outfits. I got my PS by calling the line for the store and talking to the first PS to answer the phone. I think if you do a search of posts you'll find numbers for both AGPs posted.

Elle, you can phone either AGPNY or AGPC and find out if they still have any of the Star Flower Outfits. You are usually connected with a PS. I don't really think it matters about your age - you pay for it with a credit card which is what I assume you do when you order online or over the phone. It's really not that different than ordering anything else.

P.S. Don't forget to ask your parents!!!

You might want to just call the catalog number and ask if they still have any in stock. When I was in the outlet, I noticed that they were selling the girl sized memorable moments dress and had a doll dressed in the matching outfit with a sign that said it was available through the catalog. I thought I should give them a heads up that it was sold out, and they said they had just checked because of an irate customer, and that it is still available. Apparently, AG shows items as sold out on the website before they are actually all gone, and you can still get them through the catalog. I'm sure their stock must be quite low when they show them as sold out, but it wouldn't hurt to see if you could still get the starflower set.

I think it is, but, like the last outfit I thought was retired, it wasn't. How come everytime a new outfit comes out, you don't really want it, and then when it retires, you really really want it? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I'm pretty sure it isn't retired because I saw it at AGPC a couple of weeks ago. My PS didn't mention that it's retiring soon so it must not be.
